Account & Data Deletion

We aim to make this process simple and transparent. At Orbitelo, we respect your privacy and your right to control your data. You can request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
Option 1: Delete your account from the app or website
You can start the account deletion process directly from the Orbitelo app or website.
Steps:
- Go to your Profile section
- Use any remaining wallet balance on eSIM plans — balance cannot be refunded or withdrawn. Then verify you have no active data plans.
- Deleting your account will permanently remove all account information and active plans
- Open the Danger Zone section, enable the safety toggle, then click "Delete your account"
- Review the information about data deletion
- Confirm the deletion request
For security reasons, we may ask you to verify your identity before completing the process.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you're unable to access the app or website, you can request account deletion by email.
Steps:
- Send an email to support@orbitelo.com
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Send the email from the address associated with your Orbitelo account
Our support team may contact you to verify your request.
What happens when you delete your account
Data that will be deleted or anonymized
- Account profile information (name, email address, phone number, billing address)
- Authentication credentials and login access
- Installed eSIM profiles (ICCID and related technical identifiers)
- Trip planning sessions and queries
- Device tokens and push notification settings
Data that is retained for legal compliance
Transaction and billing records are retained in anonymized form for tax and accounting purposes. These records contain no personal identifiers — your profile information is replaced with a placeholder at deletion time. Retained records include:
- Order history (plan purchased, amount, date, status)
- Payment records (transaction ID, amount, currency, status)
- Wallet ledger entries (credits, debits, cashback, referral bonuses)
This retained data:
- Is stored securely and linked only to an anonymized account ID
- Is not used for marketing or analytics
- Is kept only for the minimum period required by law (typically 5–7 years for billing and transaction records)
Important notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- eSIMs already installed on your device will continue to work until the contracted data is fully consumed or the plan expiration date is reached — they do not require an active account to function
- Any unused wallet balance will be permanently lost upon deletion — balance cannot be refunded or withdrawn. Spend it on eSIM plans before proceeding. Plans not yet installed will also be lost.
Deletion timeframe
Account data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of verification.
